In response to Ann O'Dyne, he didn't think animals had the ability to be anything more than automata. I don't think he disliked them, he just didn't think they needed to be liked.
Apparently, he was rarely out of bed before midday. Much like you and me Ria! Big Love, and i'm gutted I wasn't on the list of the best things of 2007.
